Key takeaways
- GolfBooker app is now on the App Store and Google Play
- First round already played
- Live scoring, GPS distances and scorecard tracking all worked on-course
- Available now on the App Store and Google Play
The App Is Live
GolfBooker is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play. The app gives golfers a scorecard and GPS distances for +42,000 courses, handicap tracking and submissions and tee time booking in a single place.
Publishing the app was a milestone we had been working toward since the beginning. But putting it in the app stores is one thing. Playing a real round with it is another.
First Round
In February we headed across the pond to play the first proper round tracked with GolfBooker. We wanted to test the app outside of a development environment, on a real course, in real conditions. Miami gave us exactly that: warm weather, palm-lined fairways and a full 18-hole test.

We opened the app, started a round and played all 18 holes while tracking scores hole by hole.
What We Tested
The round covered the core features that matter on the course: creating a round, adding players, entering scores per hole and seeing the running total update in real time. GPS distances were active throughout, showing yardage to the pin on each hole.
The app performed well during the round and testing in a real environment also revealed areas for improvement that we will be working on going forward.
What Comes Next
Over the coming weeks we will continue adding features ahead of the 2026 season. We are improving offline performance, developing social features between players and adding payment options. We are also actively listening to user feedback.
If you want to try it, download GolfBooker from the App Store or Google Play and start a round. We would love to hear what you think.
